With proprietary ingredients, our artist grade IOD Air Dry Clay holds detail for casting with our beautifully detailed moulds. Expect a small amount of shrinkage and cracking when dry, and use it to your vintagey advantage!
Work it in your hands until it is soft and pliable and then have fun with your moulds!
Store in cool area.
Tips:
- · Glue to your project while still “wet” – right out of the mould. My favorite glue is TiteBond Quick and Thick – it holds quickly and it’s easily available at big box home improvement stores
- · After letting them get a “crust” – paint them before they are fully dry; this will help minimize cracking & shrinking (although the vintage lovers amongst us use this to our advantage!)
- · If there are any castings that do shrink or crack, you can back-fill them with a bit of the clay after they dry.
- · I personally find that very damp (not dripping) paper shop rags draped over your moulds will allow them to dry a bit more slowly and also help with the cracking.
- · If your moulds with very small intricate details give you a hard time when unmoulding, simply pop them in your freezer for 10-15 minutes and they should unmould beautifully. If they do break, you can glue them right back together on your project.

I currently ship to US domestic addresses as well as the non-contiguous US (HI and AK) through my website. At this time, I do not offer international shipping
