We have to tell you…this one has been a long time coming. Sally and Josie have searched for an oval wood blank for years and kept running into the same problem. There was a big gap in the market for an oval blank that felt high-quality and truly made for delicate compositions. This has been a dream product for them for quite some time, and we’re so happy to finally bring it to your craft table.
With its generous 12.7" x 15.7" scale and recessed profile, it’s built for dimension and framing—perfect for mould borders and embellished detail using any of IOD’s superbly detailed trimming/edging moulds! Emphasize those raised details with dark wax or a touch of gilding.
For the center, choose a favorite IOD transfer or paint inlay and style it as a wall plaque, a mixed media addition to your gallery wall, or add vintage brass handles to the sides to create a bespoke tray.

I currently ship to US domestic addresses as well as the non-contiguous US (HI and AK) through my website. At this time, I do not offer international shipping

Given the wide range of product options available, I offer a tiered shipping rate system based on the amount you spend. I will combine multiple orders and refund excess shipping where possible and at my discretion. Shipment providers may include USPS, Fed Ex or UPS.

If you believe your package has been lost or stolen after being marked as delivered, please contact the carrier directly to file a claim. The Silver Nutmeg will not issue refunds or replacements for orders that have been marked as delivered by the carrier.
